2011 Peru

Macchu Picchu in Southern Peru is a great side trip after a week of mission work.

Peru 2011

We are taking ideas and commitments for the Summer of 2011 if mission trip opportunities in Northern Peru. Having worked there for 5 years, the Lamca family has a love for the Peruvian people. They will be working primarily in the North Coast city of Trujillo. Called the “City of Eternal Spring,” Trujillo is the 3rd largest city in the country and during the months of June, July and August, has temperatures that range from the 50′s to 70′s.

What Can You Do?

What can‘t you do? If you have a talent, a specialty, a gift or ability, run it by us! We are very hopeful that we will be able to field the following types of teams in 2011, but this is not a limited list…just an idea starter.

  • Prayerwalking and Tract Distribution Teams
  • Medical Teams
  • Dental Teams
  • Optical Teams
  • Individuals to give hair cuts to poor children
  • College Ministry Teams
  • Music Teams

Why not plug some of the students from the Christian Studies dept. @ GCU for the college ministry teams. We can also advertise through some of the local churches for those who don’t attend GCU, but are college age. Many of those college age persons are also musically incloined and can help in this area.
