I am a week into the trip and things are really heating up, ministry wise. Time for a recap?
Acapulco
Renacimiento: Part of a Church plant led by missionaries Jim and Jani Blackwell. Team of young ladies leading vacation Bible school from Iglesia Bautista Central (Phoenix) and the Church at Arrowhead (Glendale, AZ).
Prison. Led by Bill Farley of Henderson Hills Baptist Church (Oklahoma). Located near Renacimiento.
Star of Bethlehem Church is conducting 11 children’s Bible schools with help from South Peoria and Avondale Baptist churches (Arizona). Most of these are on the side of Acapulco that faces the ocean.
Coyuca
Basketball clinics are spearheaded by Henderson Hills. The coaches started today with morning and afternoon sessions.
Dennis Adams and I (the Church at Arrowhead) have both moved north to Coyuca but will continue to “float around.”
Prayer Requests
Health is always a factor on a trip. With the heat, unusual foods and long days, people can get worn down. On this trip, we have people playing basketball and going in and out of prisons, so the need is even greater. Keep us in your prayers.

John 17:9-11. Jesus Praying “(9) I pray for them. I am not praying for the world, but for those you have given me, for they are yours. (10) All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them. (11) I will remain in the world no longer, but they are still in the world, and I am coming to you. Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name—the name you gave me—so that they may be one as we are one.”
Everyone is scattered and you all have needs various needs for safety, health, and strength, etc…. Remeber, God chose you! Keep pressing on. Everything, everthing you do makes a differance. God Bless all of you and we continue to pray for your success in performing the work God sent you to do. Praise the Lord for giving you the strength to endure!
